So happy and honored to be part of the Open Walls group exhibition “Then & Now”, an international photography award presented by The British Journal of Photography and Galerie Huit Arles in Arles, France alongside the international photography festival Les Rencontres de la photographie, an annual summer photography festival founded in 1970. A special thanks to Héloise, Julia, and Ines!
What a moment to see my image of my Baba up on a gallery wall in Arles! Also to share this moment with fellow photographer Kristin Schnell @kristinschnell, who took the portraits of me in front of the exhibition (lucky me!). And to be amongst many other fantastic photographers included in this exhibition.
OpenWalls “Then & Now” is running from July 4 until September 26, 2021.
