It was that time of the year again: At the beginning of September, Berlin Photo Week took over the capital. While many great exhibitions were scattered around the city’s galleries, the main events, workshops, and presentations were centered at the Treptow Arena, where I spent a whole day. The main hall wasn’t too impressive tbh, it felt rather like a big sales pitch of big industry names and tedious installations, yet a few features like exhibitions by Yael Martínez and Nanna Heitmann, free Campari drinks, and a great DJ set by Swim Good Music in the night made it a day nevertheless.
