When I moved to New York and left my hometown Berlin, I did not have second thoughts. Sure, I was scared and afraid of being far away from my family (my OG day ones) and my close friends (my second family) and build a life in a brand new city. But I had no doubt - like zero, niente, nada - that this was necessary in my life at that time. It was like a force, heading me towards this change, with no questions asked. The move and my time in New York changed my life. I explored, found out a lot about myself and met wonderful people.
Today, after almost 7 years in New York I decided to quit my day job and leave the City. Not forever, but for a while.

On January 21st, 2017, I joined the Women's March on Washington in NYC (#SisterMarch). Alongside with my sister (yes!) we walked, danced and sent out positive energy to the world.
The March was a peaceful protest for Human Rights, Women Rights, equality, mutual respect and love. Over 200,000 people showed up in NYC alone. The vibe was warm, hopeful and loving.
There is a populist and nationalist trend going on, especially in the countries which are dear and near to my heart.
