When I moved to New York and left my hometown Berlin, I did not have second thoughts. Sure, I was scared and afraid of being far away from my family (my OG day ones) and my close friends (my second family) and build a life in a brand new city. But I had no doubt - like zero, niente, nada - that this was necessary in my life at that time. It was like a force, heading me towards this change, with no questions asked. The move and my time in New York changed my life. I explored, found out a lot about myself and met wonderful people.

Today, after almost 7 years in New York I decided to quit my day job and leave the City. Not forever, but for a while.

Birthdays. Some love them, some don't and some just don't care. But me. I CELEBRATE my birthdays - big time! I can't stop time anyways, so I might as well enjoy it and let loose, right?

I have a friend. He is one of these friends you bonded over a great night out and who is a guaranty for a good time. Yep, Candas, I'm talking about you. So when Candas asked me to take pictures of his close friends' wedding at City Hall, I said 'yes' (pun intended). 

I always look for excuses to travel and see new countries and cities. So it happened again last weekend, when two of my dear friends got married in Portland, Maine. Before heading to the festivities we decided to stop by in "nearby" Montréal for a quick visit.

Online shopping splits humankind in three groups. The ones who think it is a blessing - time saving, comfortable and flexible, one click away and 24/7 available. Then the other ones who think it is a curse - no product experience, no face-to-face interaction, laziness, refund stress etc. The third group are the 'tweeners, the ones who want it all and do both - online and real-life shopping.

Love is in the air everywhere I look around!

Comes spring New York City blossoms in every aspect. Not just the trees, but also its people. Happiness is almost tangible.

On January 21st, 2017, I joined the Women's March on Washington in NYC (#SisterMarch). Alongside with my sister (yes!) we walked, danced and sent out positive energy to the world.
The March was a peaceful protest for Human Rights, Women Rights, equality, mutual respect and love. Over 200,000 people showed up in NYC alone. The vibe was warm, hopeful and loving.

There is a populist and nationalist trend going on, especially in the countries which are dear and near to my heart.

A beautiful and enchanting city at the Northern coast of Colombia - Bienvenido a Cartagena!

After a 4 1/2 hour direct flight from New York, we arrived at Rafael Núñez International Airport, the northern part of Cartagena.
